Everything people ask before hiring us
Grouped in the order most people ask them. If yours is not here, send it over.
Getting started
How do I start?
Send a few sentences about your business and what you need. You get a reply within one working day, then a free conversation, then a written quote.
Do I need to know what I want?
No. Describe the problem in plain language. Turning it into a technical answer is the job you are hiring us for.
What if I only need advice?
Ask. The first conversation is free and sometimes ends with us saying you do not need to build anything yet.
Do you work with businesses anywhere?
Yes. Almost all the work happens over email, calls and shared links.
Money
How do you price work?
Per project, never from a fixed package. Every job is different, so you get a number built around what you actually need.
Why not publish prices?
Because a five-page site and a booking platform are not the same job, and a headline number would mislead you on both.
How does payment work?
In stages tied to progress, agreed in writing before we start. You are never paying far ahead of the work.
What if the project grows?
We quote the change before doing it. Nothing appears on an invoice that you have not already agreed to.
Are there ongoing costs?
Hosting and your domain, paid directly to the provider so they stay in your name. Anything else is optional.
The work
How long will it take?
Websites usually take a few weeks; apps and platforms take longer. You get a real date in the quote.
Can I see progress?
Every week. A link to the working product and a short note on what changed.
Who writes the text?
You can, or we can. Text is the most common cause of delay, so decide early.
Do you provide images?
We can source and licence imagery or work with a photographer. Your own real photos almost always perform better.
Will it work on phones?
Yes. Everything is designed mobile-first and tested on real devices.
After launch
What if something breaks?
There is a support window included after launch, and we stay reachable after that.
Can I edit the site myself?
Yes, with an admin for text, images and pages, plus a recorded walkthrough for your team.
What if I move to another developer?
You take everything. Code, files, accounts and documentation are yours, and we help with the handover.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes, on a simple arrangement that suits the project. Never compulsory.
Still have a question?
Ask it directly. A straight answer within one working day, with no obligation and no sales sequence afterwards.
Free first conversation. No obligation, and you keep the notes.
